Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Remediate.AI, operated by Remediate.AI UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Osterwaldstraße 135, 80805 München, Germany, registered with Amtsgericht München under HRB 312809.

By using our website, creating an account, purchasing a report or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms.

Remediate.AI provides software tools for digital accessibility analysis and remediation support. Our services may include:

• BFSG and WCAG accessibility scans
• AI-generated issue explanations
• AI-assisted fix suggestions
• BFSG readiness reports
• Monitoring and regression alerts
• Developer workflows such as GitHub pull request suggestions
• Agency and client reporting features
• Other related accessibility and compliance automation tools

Remediate.AI is a software assistance platform. It does not provide legal advice.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter into contracts on behalf of yourself or your organisation.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

• You have the right to scan the submitted website or digital property
• The information you provide is accurate
• Your use of generated reports and fix suggestions is appropriate for your business
• Final implementation decisions are reviewed by your team or qualified professionals
• You do not use Remediate.AI for unlawful, abusive or unauthorised scanning

For one-time BFSG or E-commerce audits, Remediate.AI scans the submitted website and generates a report based on the scan result available at the time of analysis.

A one-time audit does not include continuous monitoring, dashboard access, recurring scans or ongoing remediation unless explicitly included in the purchased product.

Subscription plans may include recurring scans, monitoring, dashboard access, reports, fix suggestions, integrations or other plan-specific features.

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis unless otherwise stated. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period after cancellation.

Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider displayed at checkout. We do not store full payment card details.

All prices are shown in EUR unless stated otherwise. VAT or applicable taxes may be added depending on customer type, location and tax status.

Remediate.AI uses AI systems to generate explanations, recommendations and fix suggestions. AI-generated output may contain errors, incomplete recommendations or suggestions that require technical review.

You are responsible for reviewing, testing and approving any code, content or accessibility changes before publishing them to a live environment.

Remediate.AI helps identify and address accessibility issues, but we do not guarantee that your website, app, report or business will be fully compliant with BFSG, WCAG, EAA or any other legal or technical standard.

Final legal compliance depends on your complete digital service, implementation, content, third-party tools, business model and legal context.

You must not:

• Scan websites you do not own or have permission to test
• Abuse, overload or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer or copy the platform
• Use the service to build a competing product
• Upload malicious code or unlawful content
• Circumvent technical limitations or plan restrictions
• Resell the service without written permission

Remediate.AI, including its software, design, brand, workflows, reports, templates and documentation, remains the property of Remediate.AI UG (haftungsbeschränkt) or its licensors.

You retain ownership of your website content, customer data and submitted materials. Reports generated for your website may be used internally by your organisation, unless otherwise agreed.

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where required, a data processing agreement may be made available for business customers.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Temporary downtime may occur due to maintenance, updates, third-party outages or circumstances outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remediate.AI is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption or regulatory penalties.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or liability that cannot be limited under German law.

You may cancel a subscription according to the cancellation options available in your account or by contacting support. Cancellation prevents renewal but does not automatically refund already paid fees unless stated in our Refund Policy or required by law.

We may update our services and these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated by email or through the platform. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

If the customer is a merchant, legal entity under public law or special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Munich, Germany.
