Refund Policy

Effective date: May 28, 2026

Introduction

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Remediate.AI, operated by Remediate.AI UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Osterwaldstraße 135, 80805 München, Germany, HRB 312809.

1. General Principle

We aim to be fair and transparent. Refund eligibility depends on the type of product purchased and whether the service has already been delivered or started.

2. One-Time Audit Products

One-time audit products, including BFSG audits and E-commerce accessibility audits, involve immediate technical processing, scanning and report generation.

Refunds for one-time audits are generally not available once:

  • The scan has started
  • The report has been generated
  • The report download has been made available
  • The report has been sent by email
  • Manual or AI-assisted analysis work has begun

If you purchased an audit by mistake and the scan/report generation has not yet started, contact us as soon as possible at contact@getremediate.de.

3. Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation prevents the next renewal. We do not usually issue refunds for partial monthly billing periods that have already started.

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of the initial purchase if the service has not been substantially used. After this period, annual subscriptions are generally non-refundable and access continues until the end of the paid term.

4. Duplicate Payments and Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or paid twice, contact us at contact@getremediate.de. Verified billing errors will be corrected or refunded.

5. Service Outages

Refunds or credits may be considered at our discretion if a significant service outage prevents access to a paid service for an extended period and the issue was within our control.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email:

Please include:

  • Your name and company name
  • Account email address
  • Invoice number or Stripe payment reference
  • Product or plan purchased
  • Reason for the refund request

We aim to respond within 3 business days.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. If a chargeback is opened without prior communication, we may suspend the related account or service while the dispute is reviewed.

8. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory statutory rights that may apply under German or EU law.
